Why we're relaunching
WickedBet has run since 2023, and the platform today looks nothing like the one $WIK launched against: 33 provably fair Originals, lottery on 27 international draws, a sportsbook with live in-play betting, thousands of third-party games, debit and credit card deposits alongside crypto, Own A Casino for outside operators, and Instant Millionaire, which has already paid a real $1,000,000 winner.
$WIK was never a token without a purpose. It powers the loyalty tiers, discounts your Instant Millionaire and lottery entries, lifts your rakeback, and can be wagered across the site. The problem was never utility. It was structure.
The token launched more than three years ago under very different conditions, and it has carried that weight ever since: a long slide in trading activity, thin liquidity, scattered holders, and a chart that stopped reflecting the platform behind it. On top of that, the original allocation, together with a token loss from a historical withdrawal error, left the project with almost nothing in reserve to grow with.
There's also a technical drag. The old contract carries a transfer-tax function from its early days. Even with the tax set to zero, scanners and audit tools still flag the contract as able to change fees later, which scares off new holders before they ever look at what the token does. The new token has no tax component at all.
So the platform kept growing while the token stayed stuck. A relaunch fixes the foundation, not the utility.
